iOS 11.1 is said to bring wireless charging to the new iPhone(s).
The principle source of information comes from well-regarded Apple blogger John Gruber. He tweeted that he heard that wireless charging for the new iPhone(s) would be sold separately, and that it might not ship with the new iPhone(s) at launch. Gruber says that similar to the iPhone 7 Plus’ Portrait Mode feature in iOS 10.1, wireless charging might be added as a new feature in iOS 11.1.
I’ve heard that inductive charging will (a) be sold separately, and (b) might be late, waiting for iOS 11.1 (a la Portrait mode last year). https://t.co/N65dHMNQIJ

Wccftech, a news website with a reportedly spotty track record, also claims that a source they have spoken with reiterates the same point.
At this point it’s unclear when or if wireless charging will be added to the iPhone 8, iPhone 7s models or to any new iPhones in 2017. Until the feature is confirmed by Apple, there’s no telling whether or not this will be the year that we finally see wireless charging come to the iPhone.
