Apple launched their 2017 education deals on Wednesday morning.
Similar to last year, you’ll get a free pair of Beats wireless headphones with the purchase of an Mac or iPad Pro. If you buy a Mac, you can choose from the PowerBeats3 earbuds (reg. $200), BeatsX earbuds (reg. $150) or Beats Solo3 on-ear headphones (reg. $300) for free. If you buy an iPad Pro, you can only get the BeatsX for free, with the PowerBeats3 or Solo3 headphones available at reduced rates. All three of these are solid pairs of headphones that comes as a nice perk to anyone student looking to buy a new Apple product this Summer.
In addition to a free pair of Beats, students looking to purchase new Apple products also get access to discounted pricing on iPads and Macs. The discounts aren’t jaw-dropping, but even these reduced prices are unheard of from Apple outside of their education store.
